There are games, and then there’s Hank’s version of the classic hide and seek. This rescue English Bulldog, whose antics are posted on @itsmrhanks, is currently going viral for his very questionable strategy while playing games with his mom. He apparently thinks that if he cannot see his owner, then his owner definitely cannot seek him out. He is currently “hiding” in the kitchen with a lot of confidence. And you have to agree, it is a bold move for such a sturdy guy.
Owner captures dog’s love for playing hide and seek
The clip opens in the kitchen where Hanks is sitting right next to the stove. He is tucked behind some thin cafe curtains that cover the bottom half of the stove. But here is the catch. Only his face is actually covered by the fabric. His entire body is sitting out in the open for everyone to see.
To be fair to him, though, he also stays incredibly still, so he doesn’t blow his cover. This dog really believes he is a master of the game. He even manages to control a little snort. It’s hilarious to watch. Meanwhile, his mom is being a great sport and keeps the game going while filming. She walks around asking where her “Hank-y” could possibly be.
She even laughs because he is sitting right in front of her. “Took us forever to find him,” she shared very tongue-in-cheek in the caption. He just stays in his spot, absolutely convinced that his disguise is working. One viewer joked that his bear paws might have given his location away.
Over 15,000 people liked his comic attempt at staying hidden in just one day. One comment pointed out that if he cannot see you, you cannot see him. Another person asked where the dog even was because the hiding spot was so good. He is clearly a natural comedian who loves to make his family laugh. He stays in his spot until the game is finally over. After watching this video, you can be sure of one thing: this house is never boring with him around.
