Nothing says “unhappy” like a dog whose dad decided she needs to socialize with other pups at an event. And at @life_with_lola_girl, a very trendy Pit Bull named Lola is currently dealing with some forced weekend plans. Her owner, Jim, decided his favorite girl needed to get out of the house, and so they are driving to an outdoor event. In the clip, we see her sitting in the car wearing a purple t-shirt and a matching sun hat, but her eyes say she would much rather be at home napping.
Dog gives hilarious reaction to dad asking her socialize more
As the car moves along, Pop Pop breaks the news very gently. He tells her not to be mad at him, but he actually signed her up for a social meeting today. She hears every single word and immediately gives him a look of pure betrayal. Actually, she looks like she is rethinking their entire relationship. She turns her head to look straight ahead on the road again in total silence. She is clearly not on board with this plan.
Things take an even funnier turn when he mentions an upcoming fashion show. He calls her a fashionista and says she might win a trophy on stage. Lola turns her head to glare at her dad with the most judgmental look ever. “She said you did what?!” one viewer joked in the comments. She looks back at the road and refuses to acknowledge his presence anymore. The side-eye is honestly on another level.
This dog really does not think she needs to socialize to prove her worth. Pop Pop keeps trying to encourage her by saying she could come in third place. By now, Lola is staring out the side window and ignoring him completely. “She is sick of your shenanigans, PopPop,” another fan noted.
Someone else mentioned they feel the exact same way whenever someone mentions a social event. She eventually turns back to the road with a very upset face. She just wants him to stop talking and keep driving. It is evident that she’s an introvert living in a very loud world, and no amount of coaxing from dad is going to change that.
