The car is already moving, the music is already loud, and this dog video doesn’t bother with a slow build. Over on @sighthounddiaries, Grayson and his mom are mid–power ballad, fully committed when the clip starts. She’s driving through East Sussex, belting out “I Have Nothing,” by Whitney Houston. This video shows her dog wants to sing, too, while strapped into his car seat. Grayson is only one year old, and he’s a mix of a Whippet and an Italian Greyhound. He clearly knows the rule about screaming power ballads to let off steam.

Mom goes all in on the chorus. Grayson is watching his mom and waiting for his cue. Then the awoos start. And they are loud! But the best part is when the song reaches the “nothing, nothing” part. Grayson stops howling and switches to tiny barks. It literally sounds like he is hitting the rhythm on purpose.

One commenter even called him “Whitney Howlston” because the range is just that good. People are already asking if they do weddings. “Cannot cope with the ending,” his mom wrote in the caption. And she’s right. As the music fades out, she reaches her hand over to him. Grayson rests his chin on her hand so sweetly. It’s like they just finished a world tour performance.

Someone asked how many times they practiced because he has clearly put in the work. It’s a whole vibe. He’s a tiny dog who really knows how to sing for the camera in this video. They even have another clip showing the rest of their day out.

The clip has over 247k likes, and it’s easy to see why. “He literally said ‘nothing’,” a fan commented. Someone else is already requesting Toni Braxton for the next car ride. It is just one of those things that makes the world a bit better. He’s just a skinny sighthound with a big voice and a very obsessed mom. And he is definitely not bottling anything up.
